Disney/Pixar's 'Inside Out 2' has become the first animated film to surpass $1 billion at the international box office, joining an exclusive group of only 12 films to achieve this milestone. The film grossed an estimated $9.1 million internationally over the weekend, bringing its total international earnings to $1.003 billion and its global total to $1.649 billion. Domestically, it grossed an estimated $2.10 million over the weekend, reaching a total of $646.31 million. The film is $14 million away from surpassing 'The Lion King' at the worldwide box office.
