The Indian Army successfully foiled an infiltration attempt in the Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir on the night of September 8-9, 2024. Based on intelligence inputs from agencies and the Jammu and Kashmir Police, an anti-infiltration operation was launched in the Lam area of Nowshera, Rajouri, near the Line of Control (LoC). During the operation, two terrorists were neutralized, and a large quantity of war-like stores was recovered. The operation is part of ongoing efforts to secure the region against cross-border terrorism.
