VisitIndian Air Force Airlifts Bodies of 26 Pilgrims from Nepal Bus Accident

A tragic bus accident in Nepal resulted in the deaths of Indian pilgrims. The Indian Air Force deployed a C-130 J Hercules aircraft to airlift the mortal remains of 26 victims from Bharatpur Airport in Chitwan district, Nepal, to Jalgaon, Maharashtra. The bodies of two other deceased will be sent to Maharajgunj in Uttar Pradesh. The process of handing over the bodies to their families has commenced.
