India's Jaishankar to Visit Pakistan for SCO Summit on October 15-16

India's External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar, will lead a delegation to Pakistan to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Heads of Government (HoGs) Summit. The summit is scheduled to take place in Islamabad on October 15-16, 2024. This visit marks the first time an Indian External Affairs Minister has visited Pakistan in nearly a decade. The Ministry of External Affairs has confirmed the details, with spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stating that Jaishankar will participate in the summit, which aims to enhance regional cooperation among member states.
