India clinched a comprehensive 7-wicket victory over Bangladesh at Green Park in Kanpur, sweeping the two-match Test series 2-0. The win marked India's record-extending 18th consecutive home series triumph and strengthened their position atop the World Test Championship 2023-25 standings. Despite rain disrupting play during the first three days, India declared their first innings at 285/9 and secured the win in quick time on the fourth day. Bangladesh were bowled out for 233 and 146 in their two innings. Yashasvi Jaiswal contributed back-to-back half-centuries, and Rishabh Pant sealed the victory with a boundary.
