The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have issued urgent warnings to residents of five southern Syrian towns near the Israeli border, advising them to stay indoors until further notice due to impending military operations. The affected towns are Ovania, Quneitra, Al-Hamidiya, Al-Samdaniya Al-Gharbiyya, and Al-Qahtaniya. IDF spokesperson Col. Avichay Adraee stated, "The fighting in your area is forcing the IDF to act, and we do not intend to harm you." Troops are reportedly advancing into the buffer zone between Israel and Syria.
