IDF and Shin Bet Strike Over 100 Hamas Targets in Gaza, Including Rocket Sites and Command Centers

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet conducted a series of airstrikes across the Gaza Strip over the weekend, targeting over 100 Hamas terror sites. The operations, which were a response to rocket attacks from Gaza into Israeli territory, resulted in the elimination of dozens of Hamas terrorists. The strikes were carried out by the Israeli Air Force in a joint effort with the IDF Southern Command, guided by intelligence from the Military Intelligence Directorate and the Shin Bet. The targets included rocket launch sites used in attacks against Israel, as well as approximately 40 staging grounds for terror operatives and Hamas command centers. One specific strike targeted armed Hamas terrorists on the Salah al-Din road in southern Gaza, who were exploiting humanitarian aid corridors. The IDF emphasized that measures were taken to minimize civilian casualties, including the use of precision-guided munitions and aerial surveillance.
