VisitIDF Says 250 Hezbollah Fighters, Including 21 Commanders, Killed; 200 Targets, Beirut HQ Hit
Oct 4, 2024, 01:06 PM
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have reported that over 250 Hezbollah fighters, including 21 field commanders, have been killed since ground operations began in southern Lebanon late Monday. The IDF has struck more than 200 targets during this offensive, utilizing airstrikes and ground engagements. Among the targets was the town hall of Bint Jbeil, where Hezbollah operatives were reportedly holed up. The military is also assessing damage from a recent strike against Hezbollah's intelligence headquarters in Beirut. At least nine Israeli soldiers have been killed during the operations, which the IDF has described as 'limited' but have resulted in significant losses for Hezbollah.
