An IDF officer, Major Jalaa Ibrahem, aged 25, was killed during combat in the southern Gaza Strip's Rafah area earlier today. The Israeli military announced his death, identifying him as a company commander in the Combat Engineering Corps' 601st Battalion, part of the 401st Armored Brigade, also known as the Iron Trails Formation. Ibrahem hailed from the Druze town of Sajur. His passing adds to the toll of Israeli casualties in the ongoing conflict.
