VisitIDF Intercepts Hezbollah's Qadr-110 Missile Targeting Tel Aviv for First Time
Sep 25, 2024, 05:33 AM
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that a surface-to-surface missile was fired from Lebanon and intercepted near Tel Aviv. The missile, identified as a Qadr-110 medium-range ballistic missile, was launched by Hezbollah, which claimed responsibility for the attack. The missile targeted the Mossad headquarters near Herzliya. The interception was successfully carried out by Israel's aerial defense system, specifically the medium-range David's Sling system. No immediate reports of injuries were noted, according to Magen David Adom. This event marks the first time Hezbollah has used the Iranian-made Qadr-110 missile and targeted Tel Aviv, in retaliation for recent actions.
