The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have announced the successful elimination of senior Hamas weapons expert and arms smuggler Wissam Abu Ashak, who was involved in regular weapons smuggling through the Rafah Crossing. The airstrike, which took place on Tuesday evening, also targeted and destroyed rocket launch sites in southern Gaza.
