IDF Discovers Massive Hamas Tunnel Network on Gaza-Egypt Border, Including 3-Meter High Passage

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have discovered a massive tunnel network on the Gaza-Egypt border, specifically along the Philadelphi Corridor. The tunnels, some of which are large enough for vehicles to pass through, were used by Hamas for smuggling weapons, including for the October 7 Massacre. One tunnel, measuring around 3 meters in height, was found last week. Egypt has denied any knowledge of these tunnels, although the IDF has located dozens of them, including at least 25 that crossed into Egyptian territory. The IDF, along with Division 162 and Yahalom Unit forces, is actively working to destroy these tunnels to prevent further smuggling and rearming of Hamas forces.
