The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have intensified operations against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, destroying significant military infrastructure including a central underground command center and multiple terror tunnels. The 188th Brigade, along with the Yahalom Unit, the 8th Brigade, and the 98th Division, conducted limited, localized, targeted ground raids based on precise intelligence. They demolished weapons storage facilities, over 50 tunnel shafts, and other terror infrastructure, including tunnels associated with Hezbollah's elite Radwan Force. One of Radwan's central tunnels, which included a command center, weapons depot, living quarters, and surveillance equipment monitoring Israeli towns in the Galilee Panhandle, was demolished using 100 tons of explosives. The IDF reported eliminating numerous Hezbollah terrorists and seizing or destroying dozens of weapons, including rocket launchers and a Kornet anti-tank missile launcher. Air strikes have targeted over 150 Hezbollah positions, including weapons depots, rocket launchers, tunnel networks, and military buildings.
