VisitIDF Declassifies Documents Alleging Six Al Jazeera Journalists Are Hamas and PIJ Operatives

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it has uncovered and declassified documents in the Gaza Strip indicating that six journalists working for Qatari-owned Al Jazeera are operatives in Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). The journalists named by the IDF are Anas Jamal Mahmoud Al-Sharif, Alaa Abdul Aziz Muhammad Salama, Hossam Basel Abdul Karim Shabat, Ashraf al-Sarraj, Ismail Abu Omar, and Talal al-Arrouqi. According to the IDF, the declassified documents found during military operations in Gaza confirm that these individuals have military affiliations with the militant groups, holding operational roles such as snipers and heads of rocket launching and propaganda units. The IDF has released this information publicly, alleging that these journalists are involved in terrorist activities.
