Oct 8, 2024, 04:06 PM
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced today at a press conference the discovery of a Hezbollah tunnel that crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory, marking the first such occurrence since 2018. Found during a secret operation several months ago, the tunnel extended approximately 10 to 20 meters past the Blue Line—the official border between Israel and Lebanon—into northwestern Israel. The incomplete tunnel lacked an exit point within Israel and has since been neutralized by the IDF.
