IDF Airstrike Targets Hamas Commanders Mohammed Deif and Rafa Salameh in Gaza

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) conducted a targeted airstrike in Gaza, aiming at senior Hamas commanders. Mohammed Deif, the top military commander of Hamas, and Rafa Salameh, commander of Hamas's Khan Younis Brigade, were reportedly among those targeted. The operation, carried out by the IDF's Southern Command, the Israeli Air Force (IAF), and Shin Bet, was based on precise intelligence. The strike hit an open area surrounded by trees in Al-Mawasi Khan Yunis where the commanders and additional terrorists were hiding among civilians. Reports suggest that more than a dozen Hamas top commanders and 70 of their men were killed, but official confirmation is still pending.
