VisitIATSE and AMPTP Conclude Saturday's Area Standards Negotiations Without Deal
Jun 2, 2024, 12:00 AM
The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) have concluded their scheduled talks on the Area Standards Agreement without reaching a deal. Despite the pause in negotiations, IATSE President expressed optimism that an agreement will be reached soon. The negotiations, which involve 23 local unions across the country, are expected to continue later in June. The talks, concluded on Saturday, marked the second of two scheduled weeks of negotiations. The focus will now shift back to discussions on the Basic Agreement.
