VisitHyman and McDavid Lead Oilers to Early 2-1 Game 3 Lead in Stanley Cup Playoffs

Zach Hyman opened the scoring for the Edmonton Oilers just 2:02 into Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs with his 13th goal of the postseason. Connor McDavid and Evan Bouchard assisted on the goal, giving the Oilers an early 1-0 lead. Hyman was the first goalscorer at +750. Shortly after, McDavid scored to extend the lead to 2-0, marking his 100th career point in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Oilers dominated the first period, outshooting their opponents 13-3 and leading in high-danger chances 7-2. The shots on goal were 8-1 in favor of Edmonton. They also led in shot attempts 29-9 and threw 15 hits. Despite a goal from Robertson narrowing the lead, Edmonton maintained control with a 2-1 advantage.
