Hut 8 and Bitmain Partner to Launch U3S21EXPH ASIC Miner with 860 TH/s

Hut 8 and Bitmain have announced a partnership to launch the new ASIC miner U3S21EXPH, which features direct liquid-to-chip cooling technology. This collaboration marks a significant advancement in the next generation of mass-commercialization of mining equipment. The new miner is expected to boost the hash rate by 80%, reaching 33.5 EH/s by mid-2025. The U3S21EXPH miner offers 860 TH/s performance and 13 J/TH efficiency, promising more hash power with less energy consumption. Additionally, the miner is rack mounted and part of Hut 8's AI push. Despite these advancements, miners continue to face challenges with dropping revenues post-halving while striving to stay profitable.
