Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts opened the scoring against the Los Angeles Rams with a career-long 44-yard touchdown run in the first quarter of the NFC Divisional Game. On the opening drive, Hurts completed 3-of-3 passes for 25 yards before breaking through a tackle attempt by Neville Gallimore near the line of scrimmage and sprinting to the end zone. After the score, Hurts held his hand to his ear to the roaring Philadelphia crowd. The six-play, 74-yard drive took just 3:05. Kicker Jake Elliott missed the extra point, leaving the Eagles with a 6-0 lead and 11:55 remaining in the first quarter.
