The funding round saw participation from notable investors including AstraZeneca, Hat Technology Fund 4 by HAT SGR, HV Fund by Hitachi Ventures, and Leaps by Bayer. Huma uses AI to help developers create health applications and aims to turn text into healthcare apps using generative AI. The startup is often referred to as the 'Shopify of digital health' and its underlying models can develop a healthcare application prototype in minutes with just a simple user prompt.
