The acquisition is expected to help Hugging Face manage its massive data requirements, which currently include handling 1 billion daily requests and managing 6 petabytes of bandwidth across 1.3 million models, 680,000 spaces, and 450,000 datasets. XetHub's technology will enable Hugging Face to efficiently chunk and deduplicate data, potentially increasing its capacity to handle up to 1 trillion requests per day.
