Yemen's Houthi rebels have claimed responsibility for a missile attack on Tel Aviv, Israel. The attack involved a new hypersonic ballistic missile that traveled 2,040 km in 11.5 minutes, successfully reaching its target. The Houthis stated that the missile was launched as part of a strategic military operation targeting the heart of what they referred to as the 'Zionist enemy' in occupied Palestine. The missile reportedly flew over U.S. naval ships and a French frigate in the Red Sea before hitting its target. The Israeli Army's Arabic spokesman, Avichay Adraee, confirmed that the missile came from Yemen. The Houthis announced that this operation is part of the fifth phase of their escalation against Israel. The missile targeted the Gezer power plant in the Yafa area, and there were reports of wounded individuals.
