The report indicates that $81.7 million in U.S. taxpayer funds were used to establish 'Safe Mobility Offices' across Latin America. These offices have helped nearly 70,000 migrants bypass the southwest border and fly directly into the country. The program has been criticized for using taxpayer dollars to pay foreign nationals' salaries to advise other foreign nationals on migration to the U.S. Additionally, the funding has facilitated direct flights for these migrants.
