House Republicans have introduced a bill titled the 'Make Greenland Great Again Act,' which would authorize President-elect Donald Trump to enter into negotiations with Denmark for the potential acquisition of Greenland. The legislation, led by Representative Andy Ogles of Tennessee, would enable Trump to begin talks on January 20, the day he is sworn in as the 47th president. The bill requires that any agreement reached with Denmark be transmitted to the appropriate congressional committees within five days. It has garnered support from 10 Republican co-sponsors in the House. Trump has previously expressed interest in purchasing Greenland, citing its strategic importance for U.S. national security.
