Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) announced the launch of the HKEX Virtual Asset Index Series, set to debut on November 15, 2024. This new index series will provide a reliable benchmark for cryptocurrency assets, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, offering transparent pricing and a unified reference price in the Asian time zone. The HKEX Virtual Asset Index Series is the first of its kind in Asia and is compliant with EU regulations, supporting Hong Kong's development as a leading hub for digital assets.
