Hezbollah's deputy leader, Naim Qassem, announced that the group has entered an 'open-ended battle of reckoning' with Israel. Speaking at the funeral of top commander Ibrahim Aqil, Qassem asserted that Israel aimed to paralyze Hezbollah, incite Israeli society, and disrupt the 'aid front.' However, he claimed that Hezbollah fighters successfully countered these objectives. Qassem emphasized that the confrontation with Israel has now entered a new phase, which he described as the 'open account phase,' according to AP reports.
