On the morning of Wednesday, Hezbollah forces claim to have repelled an infiltration attempt by Israeli soldiers near the Lebanese border town of Odaisseh. According to Hezbollah, Israeli infantry units tried to advance from the Khallet Al-Mahafer area but were ambushed by Hezbollah's special operations unit, the "Redwan" force. The confrontation reportedly resulted in casualties among Israeli forces, with Israeli media reporting that soldiers were injured in shelling and exchanges of fire near the Lebanon-Israel border. Helicopters were seen evacuating the wounded from the area. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have not yet commented on the incident.
