VisitHezbollah Launches Rocket Attacks on Abirim, Neve Ziv, Manot in Northern Israel
Jul 19, 2024, 10:19 AM
Lebanese Hezbollah has launched a series of rocket attacks on northern Israel, targeting the settlements of Abirim, Neve Ziv, and Manot for the first time. The attacks, which began on July 15, have continued with approximately 60 rockets fired in two separate attacks, and over 80 rockets launched in a single day. On July 19, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for four rocket attacks on northern Israeli towns and bases, including Kiryat Shmona. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported no casualties from the initial attacks and have responded by targeting Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon, including the Itatron area and a launcher in Rab a-Taltin. Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for the attacks, stating they are in retaliation for recent IDF strikes on southern Lebanon. Sirens have been warning of continuing Hezbollah attacks on northern Israel.
