Helsing Raises €450 Million in Series C, Valued at €5 Billion

Helsing, a startup developing AI software for defense, has raised €450 million in a Series C funding round led by General Catalyst. This funding round, which also saw participation from Accel, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Plural Platform, values the company at approximately €5 billion. Helsing plans to use the funds to expand its presence in European nations bordering Russia, enhancing its role in protecting democracies along NATO's eastern flank. The total funding for Helsing now stands at €769 million.
