Harvey Weinstein Pleads Not Guilty to 2006 Sex Crime Charge in Manhattan Court

Harvey Weinstein appeared in a Manhattan courtroom on Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to a new indictment charging him with a criminal sex act in the first degree. This new charge stems from an alleged assault in 2006. The indictment, brought by a grand jury, was unsealed after Weinstein's previous sex crimes conviction was overturned by New York's highest court. Weinstein's retrial is scheduled for November.
