VisitHamas Fires M90 Rockets at Tel Aviv; No Casualties Reported
Aug 13, 2024, 02:30 PM
Hamas has launched two long-range M90 rockets from the Gaza Strip targeting Tel Aviv. The rockets were fired from a humanitarian aid area in Khan Yunis, with one landing off the coast of Tel Aviv and the other failing to cross into Israeli territory. The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility for the attack, stating it was in response to alleged Zionist actions against civilians. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the incident and reported no casualties. Hamas released footage showing the launch of the rockets using makeshift launchers instead of standard launch pits, with militants in civilian clothing. The IDF noted that despite degrading Hamas's military capabilities, the group continues to attempt attacks on Israeli civilians.
