Hamas and Egypt Welcome UN Security Council Resolution for Gaza Ceasefire

Hamas has welcomed a UN Security Council resolution backing a plan for a ceasefire in Gaza. In a statement, Hamas expressed readiness to cooperate with mediators over the implementation of the principles of the ceasefire proposal. Egypt has also welcomed the resolution.
