A man opened fire in northern France on Saturday, killing five people, including two migrants, two security guards, and a businessman. The shootings occurred in Wormhout, where the businessman was killed, and near the Mardyck migrant camp in Loon-Plage, close to Dunkirk, where the two migrants and two security guards were killed. The suspect surrendered to authorities at a gendarmerie station, claiming responsibility for the murders. The motives behind the shootings are still under investigation.
