GRU officers have been operating in Yemen for several months to assist the Houthis in targeting commercial shipping, according to a senior US official. A new attack incident has been reported by the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), marking the first such attack in about two weeks. The British Maritime Authority received reports of an incident 170 nautical miles southwest of Aden, Yemen. The UKMTO has issued a warning regarding this incident, identified as Incident 104, and authorities are currently investigating. Houthi militants have been targeting commercial ships in solidarity with Palestinians.
