VisitGoogle Maps Agrees to Remove Satellite Images Revealing Ukrainian Military Systems
Nov 3, 2024, 02:44 PM
Google Maps recently updated its maps to include satellite images revealing the locations of Ukrainian military systems. The Ukrainian Center for Countering Disinformation (CPD) contacted Google to address the issue, but the response was delayed due to a company day off during the weekend. Following public outcry, Google agreed to remove the images. Ukrainian official Andriy Kovalenko stated that Russia is actively dispersing these images.
