Google has donated $1 million to President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration fund, joining other major tech companies in supporting the incoming administration. The donation was announced by Karan Bhatia, Google's global head of government affairs and public policy, and aligns with the company's previous contributions to presidential inaugurations. In addition to the financial contribution, Google will also provide a livestream of the inauguration on YouTube and feature a direct link to the event on its homepage. Other tech giants, including Meta, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Amazon, and Apple CEO Tim Cook, have also made significant donations to the inaugural fund.
