Goodyear Canada is set to invest approximately C$575 million to expand its tire manufacturing plant in Napanee, Ontario. The expansion project, which includes the production of electric vehicle (EV) tires, is expected to create 200 new jobs. The Canadian federal government will provide up to C$44.3 million in funding, while the Ontario government will contribute C$20 million. This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance Ontario's auto and electric vehicle sector and is anticipated to reduce carbon emissions.
