VisitGM Partners with Tesla to Provide EV Owners Access to 17,800 Superchargers Starting Wednesday
Sep 18, 2024, 05:15 PM
General Motors (GM) has announced a partnership with Tesla to provide its electric vehicle (EV) customers access to Tesla's extensive supercharger network starting this month. The collaboration will enable GM EV owners, including those of electric cars and pickup trucks, to use 17,800 Tesla superchargers through a new adapter, expanding the existing 231,800 EV chargers in North America. This initiative, which follows an agreement struck last year between GM CEO Mary Barra and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, is expected to boost slowing electric vehicle sales. The new adapters will be available starting on Wednesday.
