VisitGlendale Man Arrested for Murder, Arson After Killing Brea Couple Over $80,000 Debt, Burning Teslas

A 30-year-old Glendale man, Huangtang Gong, has been arrested and charged with murder, kidnapping, arson, and burglary after allegedly killing a Brea couple, burning their bodies and vehicles, including Teslas, in the Southern California desert, and robbing their home. Gong reportedly owed the couple $80,000. The Orange County District Attorney's Office stated that Gong executed the couple, transported their bodies to different desert locations, and set them on fire. Additionally, Gong is accused of stealing $250,000 from the couple's home days after the murders.
