GitHub has introduced 'GitHub Models', a new feature that allows over 100 million developers to build and experiment with generative AI (Gen AI) models directly within their workflow on GitHub. This initiative aims to accelerate enterprise deployments by providing access to top AI models from providers such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Meta, MistralAI, AI21Labs, and Cohere. The integration with Azure AI includes embedded safety features and simple APIs to facilitate AI development. Azure has partnered with GitHub to bring this industry-leading model selection to the developer community.
