VisitGiants' Tyrone Tracy Jr. Shines with 118 Yards, 45-Yard TD in 23-15 MNF Loss
Oct 29, 2024, 02:43 AM
New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. delivered a standout performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football. Tracy Jr. rushed for 118 yards on 16 carries, including a remarkable 45-yard touchdown run that brought the Giants within striking distance, reducing the score to 23-15 with 11:07 remaining in the fourth quarter. His touchdown run, which saw him reach a top speed of 20.60 mph, was the fastest by a Giants offensive ball carrier over the last two seasons and gained +38 rushing yards over expected, the most by a Giants player since Week 17, 2019. Tracy Jr.'s performance, which included four runs of at least 10 yards, has been hailed as the best by a Giants running back since Saquon Barkley. However, the Giants' two-point conversion attempt following the touchdown was immediately stopped by Alex Highsmith.
