A U.S. appeals court has upheld Ghislaine Maxwell's 2021 conviction for sex trafficking. Maxwell, a British socialite and longtime associate of the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, was found guilty of helping Epstein sexually abuse teenage girls. The decision was issued by the Manhattan-based 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday, which found no errors in the judge's handling of Epstein's non-prosecution agreement and other issues.
