German authorities have issued a European arrest warrant for Volodymyr Z., a Ukrainian national, in connection with the Nord Stream pipeline explosions that occurred in September 2022. Volodymyr Z., identified as a diving instructor, is suspected of being one of the divers who attached explosives to the pipelines. The investigation, reported by German media outlets including Süddeutsche Zeitung, Die Zeit, and ARD, has also identified two other Ukrainian nationals as suspects. These individuals are believed to have played roles in the sabotage operation. Germany's Federal Prosecutor General is leading the investigation, but there has been no response from Polish authorities regarding a request for legal assistance. The suspect has reportedly disappeared without a trace.
