VisitGermany and Allies Announce €1.4 Billion Military Aid Package, €600 Million for Air Defense

Germany, along with Belgium, Denmark, and Norway, will deliver a €1.4 billion military aid package to Ukraine by the end of the year. The package, announced by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, will include air defense systems such as IRIS-T, Skynex, and Gepard, as well as howitzers, self-propelled guns, drones, and armored vehicles. Additionally, Germany will allocate another €600 million ($660 million) in military aid, focusing primarily on enhancing Ukraine's air defense capabilities.
