VisitGang Member Chris Kaba Accused in Nightclub Shooting Before Death; Met Officer Cleared
Oct 22, 2024, 09:57 AM
Chris Kaba was a "core member" of the '67' gang, one of London's most dangerous criminal groups, and was accused of involvement in two shootings in less than a week before his death, according to reporting restrictions lifted at the Old Bailey. He allegedly shot a gang rival multiple times in front of revellers at a Hackney nightclub six days before he was killed by a police marksman in September 2022. A court order had prevented the media from reporting this information until the conclusion of Met firearms officer Martyn Blake's trial, who was cleared of Kaba's murder yesterday. Video footage of the nightclub shooting has now been released.
