Fuel Tanker Explosion in Niger State's Dikko Area Kills At Least 70

A fuel tanker explosion in the Dikko area of Niger State, northern Nigeria, has resulted in the deaths of at least 70 people. The incident occurred on Saturday morning when a tanker carrying 60,000 liters of gasoline overturned at Dikko Junction along the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway. A crowd had gathered to collect the spilled fuel, and the explosion was triggered when gasoline came into contact with a generator being used to transfer the fuel to another tanker.
