FTX's Ryan Salame to Serve 90-Month Sentence Starting October 11

Ryan Salame, former co-CEO of FTX Digital Markets, will begin serving a seven-and-a-half-year (90 months) sentence at a U.S. federal correctional facility on October 11. Salame has referred to his upcoming prison time as 'summer camp.' He is the second FTX executive to face imprisonment, following Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), who received a 25-year sentence. According to the FTX docket, Salame has requested to delay his surrender to prison until December 7, citing injuries from a dog bite, but prosecutors oppose this request.
