The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has imposed a $7 million fine on the telehealth company Cerebral for privacy violations related to deceptive data sharing practices and failing to honor cancellation policies. The order also restricts Cerebral from using or disclosing sensitive consumer health data for advertising purposes.
