French Authorities Foil Three Terrorist Plots to Attack Paris Olympics, Prosecutor Says

French authorities have successfully foiled three terrorist plots to attack the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris and other cities that hosted the summer events. The national counterterrorism prosecutor, Olivier Christen, confirmed on Wednesday that the thwarted attacks included targets among Israelis. These preventive measures were part of the heightened security efforts during the Paris Olympics 2024, the prosecutor says.
